Showtime 4pm doors open at 3:00pm Saffire(www.saffire.us) is an all-girls rock band based out of Nyack, NY., comprised of two sets of sisters, ages 12-15, who play original catchy tunes filled with beautiful harmonies. Together since December '08, Saffire consistently performs throughout the NYC area at benefits and fundraisers. It is the band's desire to play music 'for a cause' and to always find ways to give back. They recently established the 'Saffire Sisters Scholarship' which will allow sisters to attend the 'Willie Mae Rock Camp For Girls' during the summer. In addition, they are very involved in a fund-raiser for relief efforts in Haiti with 'Partners in Health.' Recent performances include Rutgers University, New York University, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Knitting Factory, and a headlining performance at last year's 'Out of Doors' concert series at Lincoln Center.
